immunizations in your community
Champions for Health is offering immunizations in your community in partnership with the County of San Diego Health and Human Services Administration, United Healthcare, and Las Patronas. During 2023, we administered 33,000 COVID, flu, Hepatitis A, Mpox, and TDap doses to infants, children, adults, and older adults in the community, at schools, to people who are homebound, and at long-term care facilities.

Healthy Babies San Diego - Resources For our Partners
During the COVID-19 pandemic, many babies missed regular health screenings and may have fallen behind on routine immunizations. To help close that gap, Champions for Health is running an education campaign to help remind parents and caregivers to make sure their baby is up to date on all CDC-recommended vaccines.
We want parents and caregivers to know that vaccines for babies are essential to protect against serious diseases and they are:
- Free
- Convenient
- Can be administered in less than 30 minutes
For more information about the Healthy Babies San Diego program or to become a partner, contact or call 858-300-2780.
