Your Support Makes the Difference

As a volunteer healthcare provider, your role within the Champions for Health network is vital to our vision, goals and success. Without your volunteer services and expertise, we would not be able to achieve our vision of improving health and changing lives of those currently without access to care.

Contact Andrew Gonzalez, Community Wellness and Partnership Manager, for more information about any of the opportunities below.

San Diego County residents can gain the most up-to-date health information with a presentation by a physician or health care professional. Click here for more information.

For more information, contact Andrew Gonzalez, Community Wellness and Partnership Manager.

Provide specialist-to-primary care physician consultations through eConsultSD. You set your hours and login on your time to provide your consultation to primary-care physicians in-need. For more information, read the information sheet for specialists or the information sheet for primary care providers.  To sign up to either submit or answer eConsults, contact Andrew Gonzalez, Volunteer Coordinator.

Assist with flu immunizations, blood pressure screenings and colorectal cancer screenings.  We are particularly in need of health professionals able to give flu vaccinations this fall and blood pressure readings every Valentine’s Day at Love Your Heart Day.  Contact Andrew Gonzalez for more information.

Volunteer at a Saturday Surgery Day at Kaiser Permanente or other outpatient surgery center. Help us to reach out to a surgery center at which you are credentialed. Check Events for upcoming Surgery Days.
