Salvador, an 85 year-old, was facing challenges with worsening and blurry vision in both eyes. Unfortunately, he was uninsured and was in need of cataract surgery, but he was unable to afford the associated costs.ASD SERVICES:

PASD connected Salvador with Dr. Julio Echegoyen & Dr. Thomas Lazzarini. The PASD Care Managers facilitated scheduling of appointments & surgeries
Additionally, they assisted with medication costs.
Through PASD’s partnership with Outpatient Surgery Center La Jolla, Salvador successfully received bilateral cataract surgery at no cost to him
